Privacy
Short version: Catnip FM has no accounts and no ads. It uses Google Analytics to count visits. Your settings stay in your browser.
What's stored, and where
Your palette, sound, volume and any mixtapes you save are saved in your browser's local storage on your device, so the board looks the same next time. A single note in session storage remembers that Loafie has already made her entrance this visit. We never receive them. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
If you install Catnip FM as an app, your browser also keeps a copy of the site's pages so it opens offline.
Your location
Catnip FM never asks for your location. The clock simply uses your device's own time and time zone.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they use. It sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to tell visits apart, except in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, where it runs without cookies. Google Analytics doesn't store IP addresses, advertising features are off, and we don't combine this with anything else. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, Catnip FM doesn't load Google Analytics at all. Google's policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Services your browser talks to
Besides this website, only Google Analytics. The clock, the music and the sounds are all made on your device, and the fonts are served from catnipfm.com.

Hosting
Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) for security and reliability. We don't use them to identify or track visitors.
If you write to us, we'll use your email only to reply.
Children
Catnip FM doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this changes, for example if we add analytics, we'll update this page and the date above first.
